Winter can really dry out your skin with its wind and chilly weather. You can treat your skin with this perfect seasonal oil to reveal glowing bright skin. Pumpkin seed oil contains a lot of amazing properties that benefit the skin in so many ways. Here are a few of the benefits:

For Healthy Skin

Anti Inflamtaory: Natural anti-inflammatories in pumpkin seed tame inflammation, helping to fade redness and calming other sensitive skin reactions, including eczema and rashes.

Anti Ageing: The molecular structure of pumpkin is small and therefore can penetrate deeper into the skin when used topically. This is amazing for treating a dull complexion, ageing skin and pigmentation.

Cell Turnover: Pumpkin is full with fruit enzymes and alpha hydroxy acids which increase skin cell production resulting in a brighter and smoother surface.

Antioxidants: Pumpkin contains antioxidant Vitamin A and Vitamin C to help soften and soothe the skin and boost collagen production to prevent the signs of ageing.

Acne: Zinc in pumpkin seeds is brilliant for acne sufferers. Zinc will help control the hormone level and oil production, as well as assist with healing of the skin.

Fatty Acids: Pumpkin seeds are high in essential fatty acids and Vitamin E, which are necessary to maintain good barrier function of the skin. They also regulate sebum, great for an oily skin.

For Healthy Hair

Vitamin E: Being rich in Vitamin E, it will also provide you with a shiny hair, not to mention what the presence of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids will do to your hair.

Vitamins: It is rich in Vitamin A, K, B (biotin), zinc and sulphur which are essentially important for your scalp’s health and hair’s strength. They are a powerful concoction of nutrients that your hair will get naturally only from these seeds.

For A Healthy Body

Rich In Nutrients: These are considered a super food as they are ridiculously rich in proteins, dietary fibers, vitamins, minerals and really good fats for your body. This concludes that it will take care of your health in general and is therefore a healthy snack.

Controls Cholesterol: With an abundance of omega 3 or 6 fatty acids, they will help increase the levels of HDL (good cholesterol) and decrease LDL (bad cholesterol).

Reduces Bad Cholesterol Levels: They also contain what is called as the ‘plant version of animal cholesterol’, which is phytosterol. They also help in reducing the bad cholesterol absorption to a very large extent.

A good night time treatment moisturizer with pumpkin will also help to hydrate, smooth and reinforce the skin’s barrier while you sleep.
